To all whom their presents shall come know ye That I Julius Allen of the County of Henrico for the natural love and esteem that I have to my daughter Polly Hobson wife of Mathew Hobson [illegible] and for the further consideration of the sum of one dollar current money of Virginia to me in hand paid by the said Matthew Hobson [illegible] the receipt whereof I do hereby acknowledge have given granted bargained and so to and by the presents do so grant Bargain & sell unto the said Matthew Hobson two negroes to wit Janny & Jack to him & his heirs for ever and I do agree to and with the said Matthew Hobson to maintain warrant and defend a clear right & title in & to the said negro Janny and Jack unto the said Matthew Hobson his heirs or assigns free and clear from the claim of my my heirs or any other person whatever In witness whereof I have herein do set my hand and seal this 265h day of November 1799. Received November 26th 1799 of Mr. Matthew Hobson one dollar being in full for the within mentioned consideration.

At a Court held for Henrico County at the Courthouse on Tuesday the third day of December 1799. This deed poll of gift with the receipt theron enclosed were acknowledged by Julius Allen a party thereto, and ordered to be recorded
