This indenture, made this [blank] day of
1821, between Henry Edmundson of the County
of Montgomery of the first part, and William
Munford of the City of Richmond, of the second
part, witnesseth tha the said Edmundson for
& in consideration of his natural love and affection
for his daughter Ellen E. Blair, wife of
Walter D. Blair of the said city and also for the
further consideration of the sum of one dollar
to him in hand paid by the said Munford,
the receipt whereof is hereby acknowledged, both
given, granted and confirmed, and by these
presents doth give grant and confirm , unto the
said Munford a negro man slave called &
known by the name of Moses, with all the rights
title and interest of the said Edmundson, in
and to the said slave, into the said Munford, his Executors
and Administrators, to the only proper use &
behoof of the said Munford, his executors and
Administrators, and the said Edmundson
