White, in one of the News papers Published in the City of Richmond_
And the said Charles Smith for himself and his Heirs doth hereby covenant
and agree, to and with the said Isaac White, his Heirs, Exors[executors],
Admn. [Administrators] and assigns, that he will Warrant and forever defend the
right, Title and Interest, in and to the Slaves aforesaid, and the future
increase of the females, against the claim or claims of all and every
persons or persons whatsoever.
And the said Isaac White for himself and his Heirs, doth hereby
covenant and agree to and with the said Charles Smith and his
Heirs (with the privity and consent of the said Thomas White)
that he will hold the Slaves aforesaid, to the use aforesaid,
and none other, and that the said Charles Smith having
fully paid and Satisfied the said Thomas White his Heirs or assigns
the Debt & Costs as aforesaid, that he will hold the Slaves
aforesaid, or such of them as may remain, for the use of
the said Charles Smith and his Heirs; and that he will then and
in such case reconvey the said Slaves, or such, or so many
of them as may remain, to the said Charles Smith his
Heirs or Assigns In Witness whereof, the parties aforesaid
have hereunto with their hands and affixed their Seals, the
day and year aforesaid.
