Would it not be helpful to index these "freedmen's marriage licenses"? The template would have to be different from the "Registers of Free Negroes" part of the book.

My 2 cents..I agree. I took a look at some of the images..after a certain point this register of licenses is of both "Colored" and "White" couples.

Hi, thanks for these suggestions. This is important data that we may collect in the future. For now, we are focused on the content in the free register pages and want to keep it separate from data in other record types.
