This deed made The Seventh Day of February 1859 Between Betsey Parham a free Woman of Color of The City of Petersburg State of Virginia of The one Part, and Benjamin S. Burch of The Same City of The Other Part, Witnisseth That In Consideration of The Sum of Three hundred Dollars [illegible] By Negotiable Notes [illegible]8 & 12 [illegible] {maybe "forth"] from This date And also in Consideration of [illegible] the Body of The Said Betsey Parham to Be Buried on the Premises, The Said Betsey Parham doth Grant and Convey to The said Benjamin S. Burch The following Property; all of a Certain lot with the houses theron laying situated and being in that part of the City of Petersburg called New Blanford, It Being the Same lot Conveyed by Parham to Parham as will by deed of record in the ? office for the City of Petersburg, dated the 15th day of December 1854, and the said Betsey - Parham covenenants to and with the said Benjamin S. Burch to warrant generally the property hereby Conveyed. said Betsey - Parham covenenants to and with the said Benjamin S. Burch to warrant generally the property hereby Conveyed.

Liggins J.P.
