Notice
To all whom it may concern, notice is hereby given
that, Mary Pollard a free coloured woman emancipated by
Thomas Cowles Esqr. by deed bearing date on the 14th
day of June 1837 and duly recorded in the Hustings
Court for the city of Richmond on the 16th day of June
1837 will apply to the Hustings Court for the City of
Richmond at its March term 1853 for permission to remain
in the City of Richmond in the State of Virginia.
