He intends applying to the Lejislachere for permission to remain in the State. The undersigned confide implicitly in the correctness of the foregoing Testimonial ranted by many of their intimate friends & therefore most cheerfully unite with them in humbly entreating that the prayer of Justice Minns' petition may be granted. [A L McRae?]

The undersigned has not been long acquainted with Justice Minns, but from observation of his demeanour, and the trust that has been reposed in him so well supported by the testimonial of divers of his acquaintances (in whom he can confide) he considers him a useful citizen, meriting encouragement, and therefore feels solicitous the prayer of his petition may be granted.
