V C Ryals, having a greater number
of votes, than any others, was
declared duly elected, with the
privilege of supplying either of their
places, if from any could, any of
them should not be able to attend.

After some conversation,
it was decided that it was [expedient?]
then to Elect, a Pastor, for 12 Months
next [illegible] the names of Bro. A Jenkins
& Bro. Wm. Taylor were brought bfeore
the meeting, after some further conver-
sation and a second Ballot, Bro.
Taylor was declared unanimously
Elected, and a Committee was
appointed to [avail?] on Bro. Taylor and
inform him of his Election & [solid?]
his acceptance, Bro. Jenkins &
Sanderson were charged with that
Service.
