What was your attitude toward military service in general and toward your call in particular?: I had no formal attitude toward military service never having given the subject much thought. I felt it was a duty I owed my country to serve when war was declared.

What were the effects of camp experiences in the United States upon yourself -- mental and physical?: Beneficial in both respects
