After being attached to the
U.S.S. Gorontalo I remained a
member of her crew until being
transferred on February 22nd 1919
to the Receiving Ship at Norfolk
for discharge During that time
I made three trip to France
with general supplies for the
Army The first two trips were
to Bordeaux also visited other
ports including La Palise, Royan
and Pouillac At the latter place
on the Girronde River was
located an American Naval
Air Station.
The Gorontalo which was
formerly owned in Holland and was
