SUMMARY OF MILITARY OCCUPATIONS: POWER SHOVEL OPERATOR- Operated a diesel powered caterpillar mounted crane in France and the Southwest Pacific. Operated clam shovel, drag line and dip stick loading trucks with dirt and gravel. Manipulated levers to load shovel and to move crane. Also used crane with hook attachment to load and unload cargo. Oiled and made minor repairs on crane.
TRUCK DRIVER, HEAVY- Drove.a 10-ton 20 foot trailer truck hauling troops and supplies in France. Also drove 2.5 ton trucks. Made minor repairs on vehicles.
