SUMMARY OF MILITARY OCCUPATIONS: Decontaminating Equipment Operator: Used power driven decontaminating equipment in Southwest Pacific. As no poison gas was used, this apparatus was employed for carrying purified drinking water to units that could not obtain same. Equipment was operated much in the same manner as for the purpose for which it was intended.

Worked in one home for two or three days scrubbing walls, moving furniture, tending furnace, beating rugs, washing windows, etc. and then moved on to next house. Occasionally acted in capacity of chauffeur and drove family car.
