Vincent Starrett Chicago Illinois 525 Cornelia Ave 3 August, 1934 Dear Miss White - Thank you for your letters. I am glad that Penny Wise pleased you. Some day I hope to write again about rare old books, for I am still somewhat of a collector. That has an unfortunate reference to the "two excellent weeklies," and I have been called upon to explain it before this - the word "exclusively" should have been omitted. The journals I had in mind were The Publishers' Weekly and The Collectors' Journal,

the last was extinct - and I was thinking of departments in them - Sorry! Do you know Heartman's The American Book Collector, published at Metuchen, N. J. ? I think you would find it useful - and it is always entertaining. I'm glad to have your handsome bookplates. If ever I am in your neighborhood, I shall hope to see the [ ?] library.
