This iron mortar was found at
Ticonderoga after "Montcaml" [sic, Montcalm] had
occupied the Fort - and was
supposed to be used for grinding
corn for his special table.

I also send grape and cannister
that used in the Revolution

Together with a six pounder -
and led and musket and rifle
balls some of which were found
on the battle field in Hubbardton
Vt - others at Mt Independence

The minnie balls were used in
the war of the Rebellion also a
Tomahawk found on Mt Independence
opposite Ft Ticonderoga
