Mr. Ernest Hemingway
Box 406
Key West, Fla.

Dear Mr. Hemingway:

We were certainly glad to receive your letter of November 3rd to-
gether with the photographs which you sent along with it. Your
authority to use these photographs in our catalog and publicity
work is very much appreciated, and we are going to take advantage
of it in a new catalog that we are printing.

With reference to the water pump on your motor, I have just written
Chrysler another scorching letter telling them what you thought
about their motors particularly their water pumps. I hope it does
some good this time and I hope I have a definite reply from them
in the next few days advising us that they are shipping us some of
the new style pumps. You can rest assured that as soon as we get
a new pump we will send it along to you without any delay.

It sure is a pleasure to us to learn that the boat has proven to
be such a good sea boat, and we certainly hope that we get the
pump trouble straightened out so that you can breathe easier as
you are trying to cross the Gulf stream.

If we can be of any further service to you at any time, we want
you to feel free to call upon us. In the meantime, we want to
thank you for your many past kindnesses.

Very truly yours,

WHEELER SHIPYARD, Inc.
Eugene M. Wheeler
