I am relieved, delighted & thrilled that you are coming up to Liverpool on Friday & going to stay here for a few days. It has seemed ages since you went away & I have felt a longing to be with you, all the time.

It was a good thing I rang up last night because your letter has not arrived today. The post is very unreliable.
I enclose one reduced [fore?] railway voucher - which I have partly filled in. They were in some doubt as to whether you could travel third class on it, but I am pretty sure you can. In the unlikely event of them refusing to issue a third class ticket you will probably find that 1st class on this voucher is about the same as 3rd class ordinary.
