Cole is coming over to see me tomorrow evening, & he will probably know something about it. Muriel's wife is the first to arrive - & he apparently first of all got the C.O. to sign something or other. And then his wife had to sign a form binding herself to stay here for the duration of her husband's stay in the country. There seems to be rather a large undertaking, but maybe it is only one method. If it is the only one, what do you say? I rather feel now that our stay over here is going to be a long one - possibly for the duration & this place is at least as safe as England. And if something does happen, Cole would be a really excellent man to look after you.
