the estate. The property is claimed
by the Knowles family but there is
some difference of opinion in
the minds of people here whether
the heirs of Thos G. Byrd or the heirs of
Betsy Byrd his widow are entitled to
the property. The late Daniel Chase
leaves 2 half brothers & one half sister
children of his step mother she has
filed a bill against the estate for
bringing him up as by law she nor
her children are entitled to heir
