to see her in two years I thought
I would go down - I went on
seventh day and returned on
Third day. I found her very
sick but not as low as I expected
and left her improving but she
is very feeble as best. Brother
Samson and his family have
met with a severe loss in the
death of their second daughter
Mary Anna - she has been
suffering for some time past
with inflamatory rheumatism in her limbs - and about

went to her head and after two
weeks severe iillness, during most
of which time she was unconscious
she died - she was nineteen years
old, and was begining to take
a good deal of care from her
mother whose health is failing.

for acouple of weeks - it is a

to take any rest - but her sister
has been better this fall than
she has been for a long time, and
sister R. is very smart. I am
in hopes that their moving to Bos-
ton will be a blessing after all.

Providence there will be the
extra expense of drayage
and reshipment from here with
