usual, but nothing serious was
the matter I think.

We have a fine little black haired
girl about three weeks old. Elizabeth
is pretty well but is kept weak by
sore nipples. The children, especially
Abby are greatly delighted with the
new acquisition.

Our winter is delightful, just like
pleasant spring weather. In favorable
situations the grass is green. We are
afraid we shall not be able to put
up ice for summer use.

If James would prefer it, I presume
Timothy could give him a place with
him but we should like to have him
with us & I think the farm would
be a better place for him but he can
suit himself.

Farewell dear Sister. Our love to all

your affec'ate Bro.
