[Mine?] is tendered to thee and dear Mary, and to Thomas also if he will accept it, - Charley does not know me - I am almost ashamed to write this, - but it is true, - yet I love him for his Mother's sake and his dear departed father's.

Well, my beloved cousin, this is a long letter, and if the first sheet tires thee lay this aside for another letter from me - a week or two hence, - but do not hesitate to write as much as thou hast leisure for - to Me, - thy letters cannot be so long as not to be interesting and most truly welcome, to thy sincerely affectionate cousin

Rachel Robinson

PS. On looking this over I find there is nothing said of our health,- which of course thou art interested in, - thy cousin R. is quite smart now for him, our sons about as usual, and myself able to keep about mostly, though often suffering a good deal, - yet it is a great favor that I can do so well.
