If it should so occur that I
cannot reasonably mingle with you
be assured my sympathies are
strongly enlisted, & my desires

with you, and richly pour into your
bleeding hearts that blessed balm which
heals every wound, & enables the afflicted
one from the hearts depth to breathe

is older than myself, & who takes several
of my letters ( the one from thee among
the number) should thou write again
