Status: Needs Review

North Ferrisburgh 4 Month 26/1861

Respected friend R B Stevens

Thy aceptable letter was duly recd
and in regard to the sugar I think
perhaps two tubs would make
nearly as much as we should want.
That is if they weighed 40 a piece as we
have one tub, one part of another an how
and most of the molasses yet, and as to
the [?] of syrup send all you wish
and we shall be willing to take all
the [?] as thou expected thou
has not heard any thing of sister Ann
Death more than [just?] the [anouncement?]
of it. I might say she was a great
sufferer but passed away at the last in
a very peaceful manner it appears she
had the sympathy of her [neigbors?] and friends,
in a [great?] degree her funeral was [?]on
first day the 31 [?] and very lovely attended
the Methodist [?] their meetings
