Dr Sir,

You asked me to give you my figures in regard to raising the charges in the funeral department of Mount Auburn Cemetery.

For digging a Grave & [recording?]. 4.00 5.00
" " Child " 3 00
For Opening a tomb & Closing under 10 years, 3.25 4 00
Charges at Recieving tomb At discretion of Superintendent same as before 20. 00
For building a brick grave
with internment
18.00 20.00
The labour on Opening & closing an underground tomb & sodding up again has never paid the actual expense at the former rates, and the above ground tombs give a sighs of trouble to get them open as the Locks become badly rusted. The price of materials for Brick Graves has doubled since I have been here, and If

you mean to fix the price at $20 for a single grave it would not be high! All things considered
