Dr Sir, Your favor of the 26^th inst. reached me last Evening, informing me of my Election as Superinten dent of the Cemetery at Mt. Auburn.

I will call on the President Mr. Bradlee, as soon as possible and arrange with him in regard to my duties & the time of assuming them.
