Interments
Voted that Mr Bond & Mr Curtis be a Committee to make such further arrangements as they see fit concerning interments, & to report their doings thereon, to this Committee.
Burdens
Voted that no vehicle with a heavy burden be admitted through the Gateway on the County road, & that all heavy burdens be transferred to and loaded upon the Society's Wagon, whenever required by the Superintendant, or otherwise not admitted within the grounds of Mount Auburn.
Regulations
Voted that the following Regulations, concerning visitors to the Cemetery & Garden of Mount Auburn be adopted & enforced --
1 No person is to be admitted on horseback ---
2 No vehicle is to be admitted unless it is accompanied by a Proprietor ^of a Lot or a member of his or her household with his or her Ticket. --
3 No vehicle is to be driven in the Cemetery or Garden at a rate faster than a walk
4 No Horse is to be fastened except at the posts provided for this purpose, & no horse is to be left unfastened without a keeper. --
5 All persons are prohibited from gathering any flowers, either wild or cultivated, or breaking or injuring any tree, shrub or plant in the Garden or Cemetery
6 All persons are prohibited from writing upon, defacing or injuring any monument, fence or other structure in or belonging to the Garden or Cemetery.

7 All persons are prohibited from discharging firearms in the Garden or Cemetery.
8 The Gates are to be opened at sunrise & closed at sunset
9 No persons are to be admitted on Sundays and Holidays, excepting Proprietors of Lots & the members of their household and persons accompanying them—
10 No money is to be paid to or received by the Porter, from visitors to the Garden or Cemetery
Rules to be posted up &c.
Voted that the foregoing rules be printed & posted up in the Grounds, and that they be painted on a board & placed in a conspicuous situation near the Gate;—
Mr Bond & Mr Curtis were appointed a Committee to carry this into effect.—
Custody of Grounds
Voted that the care & custody of the Garden & Cemetery be & the same hereby are vested in the Superintendant, who is authorized to remove all persons who violate any of the Rules & Regulations for concerning visitors to the Garden or Cemetery or commit trespasses of any kind.—

At a meeting of the Garden & Cemetery Committee held on the — present— Mr Bond, Dr Bigelow, Mr Gould, Mr Bradlee Mr Brown and Mr Curtis—
Commee to Garden
Voted that Messrs Bradlee & Cook be a Committee with such other members of the Society as they see fit to invite to associate themselves with there, to devise a plan for rendering the Garden productive
Donations of Plants
Voted that the same persons (Bradlee & Cook) be a Commee to receive donations of plants &c. and cause them to be set out in the Garden
Price of Lots.
Voted that from and after 1st September next, the price of lots shall be fifty five dollars each, and the price of land twenty two cents per square foot

Report of Commee
The Chairman, Judge Story, presented a Report of the doings of the Committee for the past year, which was accepted & ordered to be laid upon the Society—

Transfers recorded.
Voted that for all transfers of lots recorded the person requiring such transfer to be recorded shall pay one dollar.—

At a Meeting of the Garden & Cemetery Committtee held on , present, — Dr Bigelow, Mr Bond, Mr Bradlee, Mr Curtis, Mr Samuel Appleton & Mr Elijah Vose— Dr Bigelow was chosen Chairman pro tempore Mr Bond was chosen Treasurer, & Mr Curtis was chosen Secretary of the Committee—
Commee to examine Garden &c
Mr Vose and Mr Bradlee were appointed a Committee to examine the Garden & Garden Pond, and to report what improvements ought in their opinion to be made therein in order to render the garden productive and profitable—
Sluice
and also whether the sluice below running under Indian Ridge shall be cleared out
Voted that Dr Bigelow be a Committee to prepare a plan & obtain ^an estimate of the expense of erecting a suitable Chapel—
Commee on Lots
Voted that Mr Bond, Dr Bigelow & Mr Curtis be a Committee on laying out & discontinuing lots with power to authorize the employment of as many hands as they see fit—
Plan
Voted that the Committee last named be author-

ized to procure a new lithographic copy of the Map of Mount Auburn &c, if they see fit—
So Gate
Ordered that the Gate on the Southerly side of the Cemetery, be closed & fastened permanently
Labourers
Ordered that, in as much as it is indispensable to the good order of the Cemetery, that all labourers there be under the immediate direction & control of the Superintendant, no persons shall be employed in digging out & improving lots in the Cemetery except such as are employed by the Superintendant; or with his and all mechanics working in the Cemetery shall and all Carmen & others handling stone & materials therein shall be under his direction
Oxen
Ordered that the Superintendant purchase a pair of working Oxen, for the use of the Garden & Cemetery—

Voted that the Secretary give notice to all Subscribers who have not received deeds of their lots, that they must apply to the Treasurer for them on or before the , if they wish to enjoy the privilege of being members of the Massachusetts Horticultural Society Mr Bond was chosen Chairman pro tempore—
