Trustees.

Pursuant to notice to that effect issued
by the Secretary, the Trustees of the Pros.
of the Cemetery of Mount Auburn
met at the Secretary's office on Wednesday
the 22^d day of May 1839 at half past three
oclock P.M. Present Mess^rs Bigelow, Bond,
C. P. Curtis, B. R. Curtis, Parker, & Story.

Pres &c chosen

The Trustees proceeded to choose by
ballot a President, Treasurer & Secretary.

President

Hon. Joseph Story was chosen President
having received a unanimous vote for
that office.

Treasurer.

Geo. Bond Esq^r was chosen Treasurer
having rec^d a unanimous vote for
that office

Secretary_

B. R. Curtis was chosen Secretary
having rec^d a unanimous vote for
that office

Com^ee on Lots.

Voted. That the same Gentlemen with the
same authority as during the last
year be a Com^ee on Lots.

Gate Keeper & Admission to Grounds _

Voted. that said Com^ee be authorized
to give certain notices in regards
to the admission to the grounds &
removal of Trees & that they be authorized
to employ a Gate Keeper

Hedge to be removed.

Voted. that the Secretary be directed
to address to Mr Winship a Letter
