Proprietors. 1849.

Mount Auburn Cemetery.
The Annual Meeting of the Proprietors of the Cemetery of Mount Auburn
will be held at the office of the subscriber, in Boston, at No. 46 Washing-
ton street, on , to choose Trustees for the ensuing year, to hear the report
of the Treasurer, and to act on any other business which may
legally come before the said meeting.

Pursuant to the foregoing notice which was published in the Boston
Daily Advertiser
, a newspaper printed in the City of Boston,
more than seven days in succession, before the said time of
meeting (and which notice was also published in other news-
papers in said Boston) The Proprietors of the Cemetery of
Mount Auburn met at the time and place therein
designated. A quorum having assembled the President
Dr Bigelow, took the chair.

The Treasurer's and the Superintendent's annual reports
were presented read and ordered to be recorded. See page 177.

Trustees elected.

The meeting then proceeded to ballot for nine trustees
of the Corporation for the ensuing year. Twenty six
ballots were cast all of which were for, Jacob Bigelow, _
George W. Crockett _ Charles P. Curtis _ B.R. Curtis ___
J.J. Dixwell _ B.A. Gould _ John C. Gray _ Isaac Parker
_ and James Read, and they are elected Trustees for
the ensuing year.

Dr Bigelow made a verbal report as to the doings
of the past year and the present condition of the Corporation.

Trustees annual report to be made in writing

Voted. That the Trustees hereafter make an annual
report to the Corporation in writing at the annual meeting,
