Thanks to retiring Trustees _
Voted,, that the thanks of this Corporation
be presented to Messrs George H. Kuhn & Geo W.
Crockett for their long & faithful services as
members of the Board of Trustees. _
Some discussion having arisen upon that part
of the Trustees' report which stated that a large
& respectable number of proprietors had addressed
Conservatory for plants and flowers _
a petition to the Trustees, that a conservatory for
the preservation of plants & flowers during the winter
season might be erected at Mount Auburn: _
it was Voted that the Trustees are hereby
instructed not to proceed in the erection of a conservatory
at Mount Auburn, until they shall have first
called a meeting of the Proprietors to consider the same,
& shall have obtained the assent of the Proprietors thereto.
Resolutions respecting care of grounds & workmen _
Mr J. H. Bird introduced some resolutions
relating to the care of the grounds at Mt Auburn,
& to the conduct of the workmen therein, after the
reading of which
Voted to refer the same to the Board
of Trustees just elected.
