Trustees . Special Meeting _
A special meeting of the Trustees called by the
President, was convened at the usual place, on
_
These were present, the President & Messrs
Cheever, Crocker, Curtis, Little, McKean, Read &
Tisdale. ~
The Secretary being absent from the City
it was Voted, the Geo. W. Bond be chosen Secretary
pro tempore. _
Drafts account of Statuary
The President stated the object of the meeting to
be to consider whether ^the payment of a certain draft made by Mr Rogers
for the sum of $1500., and a draft or drafts proposed by
Mr Crawford for the sum of $2500, shall be provided for
the terms of contract not having been strictly complied
with. _
Letters from Messrs Rogers & Crawford were read
& ordered to be placed on file. _
It was then Voted.
Payment same ordered _
Whereas a draft drawn by R.
Rogers for the sum of $1500 has been presented and notice
has been received from Thos. Crawford of a draft or drafts for
the sum of $2500. about to be drawn by him _
That the Treasurer be authorized & directed to pay
the same upon the approval of the Committee upon Statuary.
The meeting was then dissolved
