T. Dowse's application granted _ Sale authorized. _

It was then Voted,, that this Corporation will
sell said land to Mr Dowse upon the condition that
the same shall be kept open as a path forever, _
Mr Curtis voting against the same. _

Mr Curtis' resignation as member of Comee on Lots –

Mr Curtis here tendered his resignation as
member of the Committee upon Lots.
& it was Voted to accept the same. ~

Rules re-specting Admission _

Mr Nazro stated that there seemed to be some
conflict between the rule requiring visitors to Mt Auburn
to exhibit a ticket of admission at the gate, & the rule
giving the Gate Keeper discretionary power to admit
people _ that this power had been exercised to the incon-
venience of persons who supposed that no ticket was nec-
essary _

And he moved the reference of the whole subject
of admission to the Cemetery to a Committee, upon
which it was

Referred to Committee

Voted that the same be referred to a Committee
consisting of Messrs Nazro & Tisdale, to report upon at
a future meeting. _

The meeting was then dissolved

Mr. Curtis seemed to have a visceral reaction to his dissenting vote to the Dowse issue, resigning the committee immediately after losing the vote.
