Comee on Statuary and pedestals for same make report in part.

The President, of the Committee upon Statuary
reported verbally, that two pedestals had been placed
in the Chapel for statues, and that the statue of
the late Mr Justice Story
had been removed from the
Boston Atheneum & placed in the Chapel. _

Lot 859 _ Perpetl care. referred to Com. on Lots _

An application was presented for Mrs Sumner,
widow of Jesse Sumner, late proprietor of Lot 859 on
Snowdrop Path, inquiring on what terms the
Corporation will assume perpetual care of said lot. _

Voted to refer the application to the committee
upon Lots, with full power. _

The meeting was then dissolved. _

Lot 658 _ purchased by Corporation _

A written communication was presented by Mr Tisdale
stating that he had purchased of Oliver Eldredge
lot no. 658 on Snowberry Path, near the gate, with the tomb,
for $400, for the Corporation; and that he had received
a transfer of the same to the Corporation, upon which it was

Voted that the transfer te accepted, and that Mr
Tisdale
's doings thereon be ratified. _
