Mr. Curtis of the Committee appointed in Febru-
ary to consider and report upon a plan for securing
the preservation and continuance of the fund which
has been ordered to be established for the perpetual care
and preservation of the Cemetery and its appurtenances;
and also to report such regulations for the investment
and use of the said fund, as they may deem expedient, _
submitted a written report, of which a copy is hereto
appended. ~

Report Accepted and Adopted _

Mr Read moved the acceptance of that Report.

Mr Curtis moved that when the question is taken, it
be by yeas and nays. _ adopted. _

After some discussion, the question of acceptance was
put and adopted by seven yeas to two nays: _
the President, Messrs Cheever, Curtis, Gould, M^cKean,
Read and Tisdale voting yea, and Messrs Crocker &
Nazro voting nay. ~

Mr Cheever moved the question of the adoption of the
orders appended to the Report aforesaid be taken by yeas & nays,
and the same was adopted by 7 yeas to 2 nays. _
The President, & Messrs Cheever, Curtis, Gould, M^cKean Read
and Tisdale voting yea; and Messrs Crocker & Nazro
voting nay. ~
