Secretary authorized to collect same _

Upon the foregoing communication, upon motion
of Mr Curtis,

Voted that the Secretary be authorized to
cause any bills due the Corporation, of which pay-
ment has been delayed, to be collected. _

Numbering of Lots, and the deeds thereof _

The Secretary suggested that an improvement might
be made in our system of numbering lots, and
the deeds thereof, inasmuch, as by the present prac-
tice, numerous blanks from time to time occur in
the record of deeds, and in the catalogue. _

It was therefore, upon motion of Mr Curtis

to be done by Secretary -

Voted. that, hereafter, the Superintendent be instruc-
ted to report to the Treasurer, all lots sold by him,
without numbering them; and that the Treas-
urer be also instructed to send the Secretary his
orders for deeds without affixing numbers; _ that
the numbers be affixed by the Secretary consec-
utively in the order in which he receives them,
and that he furnish the Superintendent a list of
the lots with the numbers affixed, as fast as deeds
are issued. _

Death of H. S. M^cKean _

Upon motion of Mr Curtis, the following preamble
and resolutions were adopted.

"Whereas the members of this Board of Trustees
have learned that, since the last meeting thereof,
Henry S. M^cKean, one of their associates, has de-
parted this life: _
