The Committee upon Grounds having reported that
they have provisionally engaged the stones for Forest
Pond
.

Stoning around Forest Pond ordered _

Upon motion by Mr Curtis,

It was ordered that the Committee have
authority and that they proceed to surround the
margin of that pond with a stone curb in
a manner similar to that around Auburn Lake.

Carriages at Gate for accommodation of visitors _

Upon motion by Mr Curtis,

It was voted that Mr Cheever be a Com-
mittee to inquire as to the expediency of making
arrangement with some stable keeper to have
a suitable number of carriages stationed at the
gate
for the accommodation of such strangers as
may require the use of them in the Cemetery.

Amendt to Art. 23 of By-laws proposed-

The following Amendment of Art. 23d of the By-Laws
was proposed by Mr Curtis _ to wit _

the insertion of the words- "or Treasurer" after
the words- "on payment of twenty dollars to the
Superintendent" which under the rule was re-
ferred to the next meeting.

Report upon Tomb under Park St. Ch.

Mr Gould submitted a written report, containing
a history of the tomb owned by this Corporation
under Park Street Church, and stating its pres-
ent condition, accompanied with a recommendation
for the purchase of the half owned by the heirs of
Mr Beale, if deemed practicable by this board.
