Upon motion by Mr Nazro, the report
was laid upon the table until the next meeting.

The Secretary stated that applications for tickets
are sometimes made by the families of deceased
proprietors of small lots, and that the by-law respecting
issuing tickets to representatives of deceased proprietors has
heretofore been construed to apply only to such repre-
sentation as is contemplated by the Charter _ viz. to lots
of three hundred square feet.

It was accordingly voted , upon motion of Mr Curtis,

Declaratory Vote that the By Laws authorize the representation of small lots.

That the clause in Section 8 of the Charter providing
for the representaton of lots of deceased proprietors
which contain not less than three hundred square
feet ^each is hereby understood to apply only to the right
of voting as members of the Corporation, and that
it was not intended to prevent such representation
of small lots as may be necessary to vest their or-
dinary care in one person: and therefore that the
by-laws respecting the representation of lots of deceased
proprietors, and the issuing of tickets to representatives
be understood to include any and all lots
within the Cemetery.

Lots _ respecting extinguishment of numbers and lines _

A communication from Mr Wadsworth respecting
the obliteration of old numbers as well as the limits
of old lots in the Cemetery, and the location thereupon
of other lots with new numbers, was

Upon motion by Mr Nazro, referred to the Com-
mittee upon Lots.
