Resolutions upon death of Mr Bangs _

Mr Curtis presented the following
resolutions, which were unanimously
adopted.

"Whereas, by the decease of the
late Isaiah Bangs Esq., the Proprietors of the
Cemetery of Mount Auburn have been deprived
of the services of a faithful officer, who
during five years devoted himself to their in-
terests with a zeal and fidelity rarely equalled,

And whereas the Board of Trustees have
lost a companion whose good temper, amen-
ity and candor were conspicuous in all his
relations with them. _

It is voted _ that the Board of Trustees
hereby desire to express the sense they entertain
of the loss which they and the Proprietors
of Mount Auburn have sustained by the death
of their late friend and fellow trustee.

Voted _ that a copy of the foregoing pre-
amble and vote be sent by the Secretary
to the family of Mr Bangs."

The meeting was then adjourned.
