Trustees Aug. 1. 1859

The regular monthly meeting of the Trustees
was held at the usual place, on Monday,
August 1. 1859. at 10 O'clock, a.m.

There were present the President, and messrs
Andrews, Cheever, Crocker, Curtis, Nazro,
Read and Sleeper.

The record of the last meeting was
read and approved.

Com^ee on Grounds authorized to purchase Lots on Laurel Hill _

Upon motion by Mr Curtis,

Voted that the Committee on Grounds
be authorized to purchase of proprietors of lots
upon Laurel Hill in Mount Auburn all
such lots, and at such price, as they shall
deem expedient, provided they can obtain
clear title to the same.

Public Notice respecting Admission _

Also, upon motion by Mr Curtis,
Voted that the Secretary be directed to give
public notice in the Newspapers that no
carriages are admitted to Mount Auburn
without cards of admission, agreeably to
the rules adopted at the last meeting.

Lot 2652 Perpetual Care of _

The Committee on Lots reported that Benjamin
Jacobs, Trustee under the will of Mary Church
late proprietor of lot numbered 2652,
situated on Rosemary Path, had offered
