Action of Com^ee on Lots laying out Wade Lot ratified _

of their action in reference to the Wade lot,
referred to them, with instructions, at the last
meeting, which is as follows: _

At a meeting of the Committee on Lots,
held October 21, 1859 it was ordered, with the
consent of the heirs of Col Wade, that a
lot of land in the Cemetery be laid out on
Laburnum Path, according to the terms of the
vote of the Trustees dated Oct 3^d. 1859.

Resolutions upon death of B.A. Gould, a Trustee _

The President then presented the following
resolutions, which, upon motion by Mr Cheever,
were accepted, and a copy was ordered to
be sent to the family of the deceased.

On the occasion of the death of Benjamin
A. Gould Esq. a member of the Board it is
Voted _ that

The Trustees of Mount Auburn Cemetery
are deeply impressed by the act of Providence
which has taken from them one of the oldest,
most faithful and most esteemed of their
number

They hold in grateful remembrance the
long and friendly intercourse by which he
has cooperated with them in the care of
