contracts shall be made or begin to run

It is further recommended that
such record shall be made of the
condition in which all lots which this
corportion has heretofore contracted to
keep in perpetual repair were, at the time
when such obligations commenced,
so far as the same can now be
asceratained; and where the same cannot
be ascertained with certainty, that the
present condition shall be deemed the
one which limits such obligation or contract.

Office for the Corporation

The Secretary read a paper repre-
senting that the increase of the business
of the Cemetery necessary to be transacted
at the office of the Secretary made it
inconvenient to the Messrs Loring to accom-
modate him longer in the present location
that his salary was insufficient to enable
him to hire such a room or rooms as
the Corporation ought to have, and inquiring
whether the Trustees desire him, in his
removal, to have regard to the wants of
the Corporation.

Upon motion of Mr Curtis
Voted that Messrs Cheever & Rand be a committee
to inquire where & upon what terms a suitable office
for the Corporation can be obtained, and

As to offices: It seems like this was about the demands on the secretary's physical space as Mount Auburn continues to grow in popularity.
