Resignation of A. Apple, Gardener-

resigning his place as Gardener, was read
and referred to the Committee on Grounds.

Roof over vestibule at Gate.

A communication was also received from
the Superintendent, recommending that,
as the awning which had been placed
over the vestibule between the Gateway
and the Keeper's Lodge was an insuffi-
cient protection against sun and rain,
something of a more substantial character
be placed there _ was read and
referred to the President and Mr Cheever
to get estimates of the cost of a suitable
roof, both of stone, and of wood, and
report thereon.

The meeting was then adjourned.

Bryant
amounting to $250. ~ for drawing
plans &c for Receiving Tomb.

Voted that the Treasurer be author-
ized to pay the same upon the approval
