Recommendn of Com. on Gr. for reservation of certain spaces &c _

Dr Bigelow also submitted for the Committee
on Grounds, a paper declaring the expedience
of making certain portions of the ground described
therein forever exempt from use for burial pur-
poses, buildings, monuments, fountains, &c.

Ordered to be printed _

On motion of Mr Read

Voted that the recommendations be printed
and copies sent to each of the Trustees.

Mr Spooner again tenders resignation as Gardener

Mr Rand read a letter from Mr Spooner
reconsidering his purpose to continue in the situation
of Gardener, and expressing a desire to be
released from his contract.

Ref back to same Comee as before, with full power _

Upon motion by Mr Crocker

Voted that the Committee to whom the
resignation of Mr Spooner was previously
referred (Messrs Rand, Cheever and Andrews)
be authorized to consider and report on what
terms the resignation of Mr Spooner should be
accepted, and with full power to make such
settlement with him as they shall deem advisable.
