Receiving Tomb _ Comee on Grounds authorized to complete same _

On motion of Mr Rand, the following was submitted,

"That the Committee on Grounds be
authorized to complete the ^Corporation Receiving Tomb
now in progress, or a part threof, as they think
proper, at an expense not exceeding three thou-
sand five hundred dollars: _"

which motion lies over to the next meeting.

Treasr authorized to pay Spooner's note to J. Mann

On motion also of Mr Rand,

Voted that the Treasurer be authorized to
pay to Mr Spooner the amount of said Spooner's
note to Jona. Mann, amounting to $250 and
interest, being one of the notes secured by the
mortgage of the Greenhouse now owned by the
Trustees, upon the said note being delivered up
to the Treasurer cancelled. _

Amendt of By-Laws _ Art. 31 _

On motion also of Mr Rand, the following was submitted

That Art. 31st of the By-laws, as numbered in
the last printed edition of the By-laws, be amended by
inserting as a substitute for the last clause the following:

"In case of Military Funerals the firing of volleys
over the grave may be allowed on the written permit
of two Trustees _ the Superintendent arranging a
suitable hour for the funeral. _
