Trustees _ .

The regular meeting of the Trustees of Mount
Auburn was held on

There were present Messrs Bigelow, Cheever,
Crocker, Curtis, Little, Nazro, and Sleeper. _

The record of the last meeting was read. _

Report of Com. on Grounds on Purchase of Watriss Land.

The President, as Chairman of the Comee on Grounds read
the report of the Committee which concluded with recommending
that the Trustees decline to purchase the Watriss
land
west of the Cemetery.

Mr Little moved that the report be accepted: the
vote being put, the report was declared not accepted,
five trustees not voting in favor of it. _

Report referred to next meeting & survey to be shown _

Upon motion of Mr Curtis,

Voted that the report be referred to the next
meeting, and that the Secretary cause a sketch showing
the relative situation of this land and the adjoining lots to
the Cemetery prepared for the Trustees.

Report of Comee on Compensation of Secretary _

Mr Nazro, as Chairman of Special Comee
read a report of which the following is a copy,

"The Committee to whom was referred the matter of
compensation to the Secretary have considered the
subject attentively and now report: _
