Perpet. Repair of Lot 801 contract affirmed _

He also reported that, the heirs of
the late Susan L. Willard, deceased propri-
etor of lot numbered eight hundred and
one, (801)
having removed from said
lot the monument and iron fence em-
braced within the terms of the contract
for the perpetual repair of said lot, the Com-
mittee on Lots had agreed that said con-
tract should bind this Corporation without
further consideration, subject to the concur-
rence of this Board.

Voted
That said contract
be hereby ratified.

General permit grantd to A. Wentworth & Co _ to enter with teams &c _

The firm of A. Wentworth & Co, marble wor-
kers, having presented a memorial representing
that said firm is abundantly able to respond to
this Corporation for any injury or trespass committed
in hauling materials into Mount Auburn, or erecting
work therein, and is also willing to be so answerable,
accompanied with the request that a general li-
cense may be issued to said firm. _

it was Voted

That leave to enter the Cemetery with teams and
to work on Lots be granted to A. Wentworth & Co.
workable at the pleasure of this Board, said firm
first giving a proper obligation to save the Corporation harmless.
