Trustees

The regular meeting of the Trustees (the same
being an adjournment of the meeting for organization)
was held at the rooms, 16 Pemberton Square, on
_

There were present Messrs Adams, Bowditch,
Cheever, Little, Livermore, Lovejoy, and Sleeper. _

Chairman pro tempore

The President not having arrived, Mr Little
was chosen Chariman pro tem. _

The record of the last meeting was read. _

The President and Mr Read here came in. _

Report of Committee on Salary of Secretary _ viz. $1350 _ and room rent free _

Mr Livermore of the Committee to which was referred
the communication of the Secretary with regard to an
increase of his salary, and relative to an assistant
in his office, reported: _

"That they recommend that the
salary continue to be the same as last year, viz. $1350,
and that the Secretary have the use of the small room
leased by this Company free of rent, for the purpose of
transacting his private business _ the large room to be
kept for the sole use of this Company, which is to pay all
the expenses of both rooms as specified in their lease." _

The Committee do not recommend any action
in relation to an Assistant."
