Appropriation for purchase of Stone Meadow moved _

The following motion was submitted
which under the rule lies over to an adjourned
meeting not less than seven days from the time
when moved. _

"That five thousand dollars, or
such sum as shall be required at
the rate of one thousand dollars per
acre be and is hereby appropriated
for the purchase of the meadow of James
F. Stone
and others, referred to in the propo-
sition this day submitted to this board." _

Treasurer's application for instruction in cases of delinquents _

The Treasurer requested that such general
votes might be passed as would authorize
him, where payment of bills had been long
delayed, to send peremptory notices to delin-
quents, and in cases of gross neglect or re-
fusal without sufficient reasons appearing,
to collect by suit. _

Voted that said application be referred
to the Committee of Finance with full power.

Voted that when this meeting is ad-
journed it be to the at
10 o'clock a.m. _
