his total salary for 1869 Seven hundred dollars instead
of Six hundred and fifty as heretofore.

The passage of the following vote is recommended

Voted. That the Salaries for the year 1869, shall
be as follows:

Salary of Secretary $1350 _

Secretary. Thirteen hundred and fifty dollars

Treasurer $1500.

Treasurer. Fifteen hundred dollars: upon the
condition that he employs permanently a competent
assistant, who shall be acceptable to the Trustees.

Superintend^t $2500 &c _

Superintendent. Twenty five hundred dollars,
use of a house and such wood as he needs gathered
from Mount Auburn.

Gatekeeper $700 &c _

Gate-keeper. Seven hundred dollars, & usual
allowance for Sundays, as provided in the By laws.

Report upon Sup^ts acct. of Gardening & Greenhouse.

The Gardening account of the Superintendent was
also referred to this Committee for examination, and they
Report.

That the items in this account
are largely estimated, and the Committee have no exact
data upon which to form an opinion. Yet as they are
unanimously of opinion that the maintenance of the
Garden and Greenhouse are a necessity for the proper care
