Resignation of Gatekeeper _

The Choice of a Gatekeeper being next in order,
the Secretary read a letter from the Gatekeeper
tendering his resignation of said office, desiring that
it should take effect on the 1^st of April next. _

Appointment of Gatekeeper & question of salaries of Sec.y, Treas^r & G. K. referred to Com. on Sec. & Treas^r

On motion by Mr Livermore, it was

Voted that the whole subject of appointment
of Gatekeeper be referred to the Committee to which
the subject of Treasurer & Secretary was referred,
and that the subject of salaries of Treasurer,
Secretary and Gatekeeper be referred to the same
Committee.

Time of adj meeting.

Voted. that when this meeting shall be adjourned,
it be to the next regular meeting on the 2^d Tuesday
of April. ~

Com^ee on Birds in the Cemetery _

On motion by Dr Brewer, it was

Voted that a Special Com^ee be chosen
to consider the expediency of the protection,
encouragement and introduction of birds
within the Cemetery. _

Contracts for the perpetual repair of lots
were reported as follows: _

Lot 569
With the Executor of George W. Thayer, dec^d for lot num-
bered 569, at four hundred and fifty dollars: $450.
