Fr. currency must mean "loose change" consisting of 7 half-dollars and 2-quarters which equals $4.00

Next line:
/5¢ .15 10¢ 1.20 5¢ & 3¢ .23 = 1.58 must mean 2-nickels, 12-dimes + $0.23: I'm not sure how the 23¢ works since nickels were included earlier in the line and pennies (coppers) are included in the next line.

Next line:
coppers .33 5¢ in package 2.50 totaling $2.83 must mean 33 pennies + a roll of 50 nickels.
